Capo Reamol - Limone sul Garda (BS)

The Limone sul Garda track is the flagship of Lake Garda cycling tourism, it was inaugurated in 2018 and it is one of the most scenic experiences in the world to be enjoyed on two wheels.
Born from the ambition to create a circuit that connects 19 localities in the Garda area, the Garda By Bike project in continuous evolution, at the moment the cycle track extends for 2.5 kilometers and is suitable for everyone, in order to spend a day of outdoor sports with friends or in the company of the whole family.
A ride with a unique and irresistible charm, able to attract tourists from all over Europe, which from the wonderful village of Limone sul Garda, located on the Brescia shores of the lake, leads to the border with the Trentino area of Riva del Garda.
The track has been projected in a cantilever way, anchored to the rocky walls that characterize this stretch of the territory and gives its visitors the thrill of a path suspended over the crystal-clear waters of the lake.
Starting from Limone, which can be reached by car or with the Navigarda ferries, perfect for avoiding seasonal traffic, the itinerary offers views of rare beauty: the imposing Monte Baldo is the protagonist, which rises on the opposite shore of the lake, the gentle hills where olive groves grow and the traditional villages gently overlooking the water.
A path to be experienced each at their own pace, on foot or by bicycle, to enjoy the beauty of the landscape immersed in the sounds of the waves and the scents of a luxuriant nature, to be followed both during the day and after the last light of sunset. The track is in fact delicately illuminated in the evening by a path of led lights that mark the way, wisely oriented towards the mountain to offer an evocative show, even if with a low impact in terms of light pollution.
The adventure can start, extending the route by a couple of kilometers, from the flowery village of Limone, traditionally known for the production of the fragrant citrus fruits from which it takes its name, where you can buy colorful souvenirs and rent bicycles suitable for everybody.
From here the route winds through the ancient lemon houses characteristic of the area and the mazes of colorful alleys, to reach Capo Reamol, where the most scenic stretch of the track begins.
The route is almost totally flat and, given its reputation as an unmissable experience during a holiday on Lake Garda, in some periods it can be crowded, so the most important rule in order to enjoy the breathtaking spectacle to the fullest is "go calmly".
Few but wise rules allow a peaceful coexistence between cyclists and pedestrians, among the most sporty and lovers of relaxation in the open air.
