From 1 March to 30 April 2025, the Sigurtà Garden Park becomes the stage for one of Europe's most eagerly awaited botanical events. A spring ritual that transforms 600,000 m² of landscape into a living tapestry, where over a million tulips create ever-changing colour choreographies.
This year's event - multi-awarded with the world title of ‘Best Tulip Festival’ - unveils brand new installations. The absolute protagonist is the Didactic Show Garden, a living museum with 100 selected varieties accompanied by botanical cards telling their origins and peculiarities. Along the paths, 30 illustrative panels guide visitors on a historical journey from Ottoman Turkey to modern Dutch cultivation.
The magic is multiplied in the ‘Dancing Flowerbeds’, floating compositions that sway poetically over the ponds, and in the Flower Benches, true plant sculptures that invite contemplation. There is no lack of interaction: the new Sensory Labyrinth envelops visitors in a tactile and olfactory journey among multicoloured petals.
For art enthusiasts, two Artist Saturdays (29 March and 12 April) offer the opportunity to paint en plein air guided by masters of botanical art. An initiative that in 2024 involved more than 200 painters from 15 nations.
Behind this floral miracle lies 6 months of work: bulb selection in the Netherlands, landscape design and hand planting by 40 gardeners
