Bardolino Grape and Wine Festival

By now in its 93rd edition, the Grape and Wine Festival will be held from the 03rd to 07th of October.
It will enliven the center of Bardolino during the last summer days, with many activities and shows. Some of the highlights: evening music concerts, food and wine stalls, Bardolino wine promotional stands, guided wine tastings organized by the Consorzio Tutela Vino Classico DOC (Consortium for the Protection of Classic DOC Wine), parades with marching bands, theater shows, conferences, meetings on wine, showcases for the best grapes and Bardolino wine.

BARDOLINO WINE

Bardolino is a wine with remarkable and distinct sensory characteristics: it is bright, ruby red, delicately fruity and fragrant, with notes of cherry, marasca, strawberry, raspberry, currants and a hint of spices; its taste is dry and soft, with the same feel of crisp red fruit and small fruit that you can smell, lightly spicy, balanced, fresh and very drinkable.

These qualities derive from the especially favorable production area, which brings out the color, perfume and taste of the grapes.
The morainic hills and Lake Garda provide the stunning setting for the vineyards, in which the Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara are the main local grape varieties.
